One of the absolute highlights of our trip to Venice! The Venexian is a true hidden gem that should be on everyone’s must-experience list. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and friendliness by the incredible staff — especially Costi, who made our evening unforgettable.

Costi is not only an amazing host but also a magician (literally!) with unbelievable skills that left us absolutely amazed. His magic, humour, and engaging conversation made us feel like we were among friends rather than just customers. It was one of the most authentic and fun experiences we've had in Venice, blending local tradition with a touch of personal magic.

The food was equally impressive — the cicchetti were fresh and full of flavour, especially the smoked buffalo mozzarella which was simply divine. Pair it with a classic Aperol Spritz and you have the perfect Venetian evening.

Two of us ordered two cappuccinos, each priced at €2.50, which should have totaled €5. However, we were charged €8. When we asked about the discrepancy, we were told that the extra amount was due to a service charge. This so-called service fee amounts to approximately 60% of the original price, which is highly unreasonable by any standard.

To make matters worse, we were not given a receipt or any kind of documentation explaining the breakdown of the total charge. This lack of transparency is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the integrity of your pricing practices.

The atmosphere was cozy and relaxing, with soft lighting and the perfect amount of background music to create a Venetian atmosphere. Whether you're stopping in for a pre-dinner aperitivo or relaxing after exploring the canals, this place will live up to your expectations.
