They bring bread without asking and later charge €15 for it, listing it as an “aperitif” on the bill, even though we never ordered any aperitifs. Menu prices don’t match what you actually end up paying, which feels like a scam.
I visited this restaurant on March 6, and the photos I attached clearly show that this is their establishment, located directly in front of the church. Despite the owner’s claim that they haven’t been serving outside for 15 days, we were seated outdoors and received our meals there.
Additionally, I noticed that the owner is trying to discredit my review by pointing out that I left multiple reviews on the same day. For clarity, I always leave my reviews later than my actual visit. I recently returned from my trip and shared my experiences from different places I visited. That doesn’t make my review any less valid.
The most frustrating part was the misleading pricing. What’s written on the menu is not what you actually pay. I have no problem paying for good food, but unexpected hidden charges and dishonesty are unacceptable.
Wouldn’t recommend—there are much better...
Read moreWorst. Wine. Ever. Tasted. Ever! Okay, it was a risk to take the "house wine" (by the glass). The statement of the waiter "A Merlot - it's a local wine." should have set off all alarm bells. But before I could investigate the (very) unfriendly waiter already ran off with the order taken.
The only thing which prevented a total "1 star only" catastrophy was the meat which was really tender. Unfortunately the same about quality cannot be said about the "Mixed fish carpaccio" - too salty, and consisting of only one fish (!) - a salmon of some sort, if I had to guess.
Our waiter never said a word when serving or removing plates, and even had a smoke outside twice while we were there - the second time when he was supposed to bring our bill (!).
In favour of the staff: the other waiter (serving other tables) seemed to be much frindlier. As if he had anticipsted our disappointment he offered us a Limoncello in the end.
All in all a costly experience: 81 EUR for "mixed carpaccio", grilled meat with vegetables (6 EUR extra), pasta with sea fruits, water, Coke and the...

Waaayyyyy too over priced for what could at best be described as an average meal. Scollops were far too small and should not have been served to a customer. The caprese was a joke for 13 euros. We got almost exactly the same quality a few doors down for 7 Euros. The 2 mains that we also had were a joke 20 Euros for 6 scampi, no accompaniments. Wine was the saving grace of the restaurant. Terrible service, as per previous reviews they were far too full of themselves believing that they have the best seafood restaurant in Venice......they don't. So......if you read this and still eat there.... don't say I didn't warn you!!! 😠😠😠😠 101 Euros...
