I was on an all-day island tour and returned to Venice in the evening, right at dinnertime. I was freezing and had been trying to visit this restaurant for three days, but it was never on my way. Excited, I finally walked into this long-awaited restaurant, hoping to warm up and enjoy a nice meal.
But then came my disappointment. This restaurant doesn’t serve tea—because they simply don’t have it. Okay, maybe a soup instead? No, they don’t have that on the menu either. In the end, I ordered a grilled fish platter, which, in my opinion, was overpriced (30 eur). I ended up leaving for another restaurant that actually had tea and/or soup.
To top it off, I got an unpleasant surprise—an extra €2 service charge on the bill (it was listed on the menu, but I didn’t notice). I really don’t understand how this restaurant has such a...
Read moreI wouldn’t return, and advise others that this restaurant is deceitful with mediocre dishes at best.
We ordered the grilled beef ribs only to receive a well-done steak. Nowhere on the menu does the dish state it is a steak, and even if the dish is a steak…they did not clarify if we wanted it or how we wanted it done.
The waiter himself acknowledged that this is a menu error that the designer created, and that the restaurant refuses fix or clarify this mistake with customers when they order. Thus choosing to deceive them instead.
Sides are bland and taste like unseasoned microwaved vegetables. Pasta lacks depth and flavour.
This is fast food quality at prices beyond that. As our last meal in Venice, this was extremely disappointing.

Read moreWe had a wonderful experience in this restaurant during our first night in Venice. That may actually have been the best pizza either of us have ever eaten! I had the quattro formaggio and my girlfriend had the capricciosa pizza.. Bellissimo!! I genuinely think we'll be talking about how nice the pizza was for our entire trip...
The waiter serving us was so friendly and welcoming, and happily answered our questions about the menu. He seemed genuinely apologetic when he had to inform us that there was no tiramisu left and did everything he could to try and offer us alternative desserts.
Very reasonable as well.. especially compared to other restaurants in Venice..
