The food was good but the staff and atmosphere was uncomfortable, they get orders confused and act unfriendly, looking like they work there as a punishment. They seemed to keep forgetting about our order, one of my friends got her Margherita only after I went and reminded them twice, we had already all finished eating by that point while we ate very slowly and talked. The other guests who ordered later, similar and more complicated meals got theirs already then so it wasn't about the place being crowded. Unfortunately that was all the good news for us: unfriendly service (despite being basically empty when we came in) and a pizza that drowns in oil served in cardboard / styrofoam. We've been to trattorias around the city which had much better food and service. However, of you want something in this area that is cheap, you can certainly consider this place.

Total hidden gem across the road from the castle. It’s hard to believe this place isn’t packed during the day.
Their bread and dough is fresh, baked in house - and it shows. We came here by accident on a weekend in Verona and ended up eating here everyday for either breakfast or lunch.
Everything we ate was delicious.
For breakfast was had piandina with whole-wheat or grain dough, you choose your own ingredients so it’s easy to make it healthy and delicious.
