Ristorante La Quercia — Restaurant in Verona

We really enjoyed our evening here for dinner. Upon arrival the staff were very welcoming and fun. Throughout the service was very friendly and attentive. Inside had air conditioning which was great, as it was a warm and humid day. The house wine was very pleasent and well priced. It went down very well. We ordered the sharing platter to share, and this was served with pickled vegetables which was great. I really enjoyed my seafood pasta. We finished with the home made tiramisu. It was delicious and well made with a strong taste of coffee. The restaurant was full of Italian families which was great, and yet were enjoying the food. If you are in Verona, cross the bridge...

I want to start this review by saying I’ve lived in Italy for 6 years and been to Verona over 30 times. I found this place while searching for local restaurants not near the touristy areas. Let me tell you, they did not disappoint. Best Fiorentina steak we’ve had, and we love Florence. Best pasta carbonara, and we’ve had tons in Rome. Great house wine (€10 per liter), great service, nice outdoor seating. They packaged up our leftovers quickly, and they are super dog friendly (see pic). I’d give this place ten stars if I could! I just hope this review doesn’t turn this spot into another tourist trap...

Had an amazing meal last night. The service was great, thank you Jacobo. We had the meat selection to start which was plentiful, with lots of bread to go with it, followed up by 2 delicious pasta dishes. Mine was the seafood and was just perfect. We opted for the litre of wine! Thoroughly enjoyed everything.... even the lemon sorbet with vodka. If we had chance we would definitely go back....
