Tuo Gusto — Restaurant in Verona

I feel bad writing this review because the owner is really very friendly and the food seems freshly made. But we have to share since we do not understand the hype (4,7/5 stars).

We ate in and had the ravioli taster (three types), number 22 (rice with fried chicken and beaten egg) and the fried chicken appetiser. Although everything was well prepared and served with care, the flavours were very bland and all dishes could have used some salt, sauce or extra depth of flavour.

It seems more of a take-out restaurant catering to students - which does make sense as well seeing this is not really a eat-in...

Amazing everything. We got takoyaki, dumplings, a noodle dish, Baozi and some katsudon. Everything was incredible. The service was awesome. Legit Asian food like this is hard to come in Europe and this really made our night! Keep up the good work. We loved the giant fluffy bao, clearly hand made dumplings and the takoyaki the most but all the dishes were great. Made us miss our time living in LA...

Nice change of pace from the pastas, pizzas, breads etc. We had chicken fried rice, chicken curry and vegetable dumplings. Tasty and generous portion sizes for the price. Also the owner was really nice and helpful.

They have an English menu for those who struggle with Italian, though the English menu had a few things missing from the main menu.
