Harry's Salotto e Cucina — Restaurant in Vicenza

We arrived in the Piazetta (Palladio) quite late in the evening, about 11 PM, attracted by the vibrant atmosphere and the cheering crowd. Instead of a formal/organized event, we found out that it was just a sing-along moment of the karaoke evening that was held ever other Saturday.

During our first minutes, we were welcomed by the manager of the place, Enrico, an amazingly dedicated professional, despite his early age, committed to the wellbeing of his guests. We also got to know the owner and we were delighted to be able to confirm her unwavering desire for quality and customer satisfaction.

Due to the late hour we arrived, we only got to experience most of the food during the next day, when we obviously went for lunch there, even though we couldn’t resist a delicious late snack and some dessert before bed.

The food we experienced was delicious. We followed the waiter’s recommendations and while the dishes were just a few of those that you experience all over Italy, they had their unique take on them and we were quite impressed with the flavor, even those of the simplest of the dishes.

Long story short, if you are looking for a top dining experience, give them a visit: location, staff, food, drinks, atmosphere - add your favorite superlative to every single one of them, and you won’t be wrong.

I visited this restaurant during a business trip. The food was good but nothing that really stood out or that I’ll remember. The wine, however, was excellent. The desserts were generously served but, like the main dishes, didn’t live up to the server’s enthusiastic presentation—slightly disappointing in that regard. The service was outstanding, very attentive and friendly, which was a definite highlight.

The ambiance was great, with a warm and lively Italian vibe. As for value, the quality-price ratio is decent if you’re a tourist, but it felt a bit pricey for Vicenza. All in all, it’s a nice spot to grab a meal, but I’m not sure I...

I had the spaghetti with meatballs. The dish was aesthetic. The portion was a good size. The dish was cooked well. The only issue I had was there was no seasoning at all in my dish. I had to add salt and pepper twice in order for it to be somewhat enjoyable. Maybe I will give it a second try with another dish.
