There are very few countries around the world that "get" the idea of a public bar. Italy is one of them and arguably tops the list. One would expect style, especially in a place that is the home of Andrea Palladio, but it is the little extras around the side that make Italian hospitality a watchword. Free bar snacks for starters. Always imaginative, they become more plentiful as each round of drinks emerges. Apres ski bar snacks often render an evening meal redundant. You may say there is very little skiing going on in Vicenza but this bar just off the main Piazza makes up for it in style and hospitality. Ho avuto il piacere di visitare il ristorante La Meneghina e devo dire che sono rimasto estremamente soddisfatto dell'esperienza culinaria che ho vissuto. Il cibo offerto è semplicemente ottimo, con una vasta scelta di bollicine che hanno reso il pasto ancora più piacevole. Gli antipasti a base di salumi e formaggi sono stati una vera delizia per il palato. La qualità dei salumi e dei formaggi proposti era eccezionale, con sapori intensi e autentici. Inoltre, ho apprezzato molto la varietà di bollicine disponibili. La carta dei vini era ben curata e ho avuto la possibilità di scegliere tra diverse opzioni di spumante e champagne. Ogni sorso era un'esplosione di gusto e ho potuto apprezzare la qualità dei prodotti selezionati. Il servizio offerto dal personale del ristorante è stato impeccabile. I'm not sure that this is typically a place to have a full sit down dinner as it seemed like a lot of other customers were just there for a drink or two. That being said, the food and wines were quite delicious, albeit with slightly small portions for the price. Try the guinea fowl whose taste and texture is reminiscent of fresh scallops.
