The beef tartare on bone marrow was probably one of the best dish I’ve ever had in my entire life. I want to thank the waiter for the recommendation!
Everything I had at the restaurant was amazing and the service was great!
I felt uneasy at first because it was packed and I’m used to having a lot of space at restaurants when I’m eating, and I only had about 40 minutes to have dinner at the time. I’m working remotely and had back to back meetings (US timezone) and I didn’t think I’d be able to order, get my meal, eat it all, and be back to my Airbnb on time, but I made it back with 1 minute to spare.
They were attentive even though I was just 1 person, and I received great service even though the place was packed!
I definitely recommend this place and will definitely be back there to eat and have some cocktails when I’m not working.

It’s very very rare that I go back to the same restaurant when I’m traveling. It’s only happened once before (excluding coffee shops). I just went back to Cucu and took my friend and made him try the beef tartare on bone marrow and he agrees that it’s one of the best dishes he’s had ever.
We also did a 4 course chefs choice meal and every single dish we had was amazing! Definitely hats off to the chefs because they make amazing dishes! My friend cooks a lot and he described to me how each dish flavor was balanced with sweet, sour, salty and savory. I just love food so I can just tell you if I like something or not, but hearing him describe the flavors definitely opened my eyes on why I liked each dish!
I had a different waiter but received the same great service but honestly, they can give me the worst service ever and I’d still go back with how great...
Read moreI am not sure what happened to the restaurant we remember, i cannot recommend this place any longer. We visited on a sunday afternoon and saw only a very limited (small plates) menu. We ordered drinks and were gruffly ordered to pay when the drinks arrived; even after we specified that we intended to order food, the receipt was presented for payment....very odd. We ordered 3 small plates which took approximately 20 minutes to arrive, much too long for fries, meatballs and tuna fried balls. The fries were good but the meatballs were so salty as to be nearly inedible. The tuna dish was very meh. And we were presented the bill for payment upon food arrival. The tables were nearly empty when other restaursnts were busy which should have been a clue. Oh, Cucu at least we will have the memory of your better years gone...

Sono andato a mangiare con la mia famiglia per un totale di quattro persone e oltre al cibo, che era tutto sommato buono, c'è un chiaro problema di comunicazione tra i camerieri che si occupano delle ordinazioni e la cucina. Abbiamo ordinato diverse pietanze tra cui due tramezzini ad un determinato gusto, e nonostante quello fosse ľunico gusto esposto al bancone ci sono arrivati due tramezzini diversi al tavolo. Come hanno fatto a sbagliare se quello ordinato era ľunico gusto disponibile? Da dove è saltato fuori ľaltro? Inoltre ai tramezzini e il resto abbiamo ordinato una brioche salata: vero e proprio problema della serata. DA NOTARE CHE NELLA VETRINETTA AL BANCONE NON SONO SCRITTI TUTTI GLI INGREDIEMTI CONTENUTI IN QUELLO CHE ANDRETE AD ORDINARE!! La brioche è stata ordinata una prima volta ad un cameriere che ci ha detto, in modo sbrigativo, che non poteva comunicare con la cucina (bastava Illustrare ciò che era esposto sul bancone). Poi la brioche, non arrivando, è stata ordinata una seconda volta, e poi una terza. Al terzo tentativo arriva una brioche salata con una farcitura che non era presente al bancone. SI SONO INVENTATI LA FARCITURA SUL MOMENTO. E se sono allergico? E se non mi piace? Abbiamo fatto notare la cosa ai camerieri e abbiamo ordinato nuovamente la brioche. Non è arrivata. Dopo aver parlato con un terzo cameriere e aver ordinato per la quinta volta una brioche (per la quale abbiamo aspettato 40 minuti abbondanti) al tavolo arriva quella con la farcitura corretta ma con ľaggiunta di pomodoro. Adesso mi domando se è la cucina ad inventarsi certe aggiunte o se al bancone non sono illustrati tutti gli ingredienti.
Peccato perché la location vale i 30 euro spesi ma il cibo è il servizio soprattutto NO. Male male i camerieri poco attenti alle esigenze del consumatore (chiedere scusa e poi rimediare educatamente all'errore...
