Prep design restaurant — Restaurant in Vicenza

I seem to have the most wonderful ability to find the perfect restaurants when I travel. The menu here is not extremely voluminous, but that’s a good thing because the chef really has a talent when it comes to preparing great dishes.

My first course was the white lasagna…superb! My second was the rack of lamb (Australian). The seasoning was mind-blowing and oh, so tender.

All combined with several glasses of the La Spinetta Ca’ di Pian Barbera d’Asti.

Visited in 2025 January. One of the best meals we had in Vicenza.

Lovely and welcoming service from the staffs. English menu is available. The staff speaks very good english as well.

Food quality is absolutely excellent. There’s a number of simple dishes, they are well presented and all super flavorful. We especially love the special 48m iberico.

Would highly recommend anyone to give it a try!

Food was decent, but there are too many unpleasant quirks: only cash is accepted, we were not allowed to share a pizza (i. e . , we had to buy two) and the service was rushed. There was a 6 euro coperto and when my wife wanted to take home the remainder of her pizza, the waiter told us they had no boxes or other packing for it. Then he said “Shall I take it away?” Not recommended given the other options...
