TERRIBLE SERVICE!! Don’t go there. They like to ignore customers. They let you sit for 20-30min without even bringing you water or anything to drink, even if you asked for it 20-30min ago - they refuse to bring it to you. When you try to order food - after you’ve been sitting there for 30min. - and have not even received drinks, nor bread, nothing at all - they roll their eyes, and are annoyed that you want to order and yell at you that you need to wait until they come to you. When they finally come and you ask questions about the menu, they are extremely rude and inflexible. We left and went to OSTERIA VENETO where we received veey uce service, water right away, bread, etc. they were extremely nice and the food is delicious. The waiters, manager and owner at Al Topo are arrogant, rude and do not care about clients. You are not allowed to asked questions and they don’t give you anything to drink and you have to endure to be yelled at and treated badly. Worst restaurant we have ever been to. Beautiful restaurant in the heart of Vicenza. I ordered a Chianina sandwich and it took 15 minutes for a waiter to come and take our order. I asked if it was possible to take the bread away and the condiments and they told me they wouldn’t change the sandwich for me. It took 25 minutes for it to come out and it was appalling. The bread was awful and it was filled with ketchup and mayonnaise. The meat was mediocre and I’m sure it wasn’t chianina. The salad, tomatoes and onions were old. PESSIMO!!! Consiglio a chiunque ci tenga a spender bene i suoi soldi e ad esser trattato con rispetto a non andare in questo posto. Personale scortese ma d'altronde cosa ci si può aspettare dato che anche cercando un dialogo col presunto direttore è stato pure lui scortese e cafone... alla gentile richiesta di pagare con bancomat il cameriere scocciato ci ha risposto di calmarci e di non agitarci dopo 20 min che tenevano il mio bancomat in cassa un altro cameriere ci ha informato che si poteva pagare solo alla cassa. Abbiamo chiesto di parlare con il direttore del locale che non si nemmeno degnatodi venire al tavolo. Anzi, ci hanno comunicato che, se volevamo parlare con lui, saremmo dovuti andare noi da lui. E lui era fuori dal locale a fumarsi la sigaretta.
