We had a Vegetarian Pizza with extra Burrata on it, a Tuna Salad and French Fries. Food was nice, the service also. During our dinner it started to rain really heavy (we were sitting outside) and the waiters dis a good job helping). Also we had two different glasses of white wine, one was super nice the other one not so good (but ok, taste always depends here). Paid 65€ in total, little bit too pricy but probably all around like Volterra.. would probably not come again but it was good. Not reccomendable for gluten-free persons.

PLACE - Tables outside placed on a nice street of Volterra. Inside not too much space, but every wall is decorated with an interesting style, e.g. scythe. And there was good music inside, U2! FOOD - Really tasty. I took inferno pizza, my wife took 4 fromaggi pizza and our friend took pizza with seafood. Then, tiramisu and ice cream in a lemon peel. All of us were satisfied. SERVICE - Nice and quick. There was a cheerful waiter who was really responsive.

We visited this restaurant today for lunch with our two young children (ages 5 and 2). We were seated outside at a table with a long bench, next to another couple. The restaurant was otherwise not very busy. The food was good, and the service remained unobtrusive until shortly before we were about to leave.

Just before paying, we urgently needed to change our two-year-old. Due to time pressure, and based on our experience with other Italian restaurants that often lack baby-changing facilities, we did not ask for one. Instead, we changed our child quickly and discreetly on the bench. The guests at the next table did not seem bothered; to be sure, we even asked them.

However, the waiter suddenly came outside in a very agitated manner, loudly scolding us and calling the situation “a catastrophe,” demanding that we pay immediately and leave. Without further discussion, he stormed back inside, returned with the bill, and placed it on our table with the comment, “Is this normal in Germany? Would you do this in Germany?”

We paid immediately and left. The waiter’s behavior was heated, rude, and, in our opinion, anything but professional. The food itself was ok, but unfortunately our visit ended with a very...

Cosy place inside or out. Mix of rustical and modern design. Very clean, nice smell of food coming from the open kitchen. Staff was very professional and simultaniously friendly.

Food service was very quick after order. A+ for that. Food quality itsself ~ excellent. Fresh ingriedients, piping hot, very well overall. Drink and beer selection was well refined.

Espressi was very good.

Overall i really recommend this place for a lunch after viewing the city.

Thanks for...
