Nandaimon — Restaurant in Aomori

What can I say! This place was amazing, was lucky enough to stumble upon this place 8 minutes before opening and got straight in. No booking was required.

We ordered the following 1 x meat tester platter (front menu) - 5478yen 1 x original cold noodles - 913yen 1 x spicy cold noodles - 1023yen 1 x beef tendon stew - 748yen 1 x matcha icecream with mochi and red bean - 418yen 1 x hotteok- 418yen

Meat set was so cheap and tasty Cold soup is best I’ve had especially with the pineapple it made it a complete new dish after an each bite of it. Beef tendon was soothing by to the soul after fighting the windy and rainy weather outside Matcha combination with the red bean and mochi was to die for!!

Service was great. Price was good! We ate alot for 2 people.

10/10 would come back...

As other people's reviews, the restaurant is called "Namdaemun" and it seems like they sell Korean grilled meat. The menu here is all Japanese yakiniku. Naengmyeon is also Japanese naengmyeon. However, ramen is Korean ramen made by boiling it with Korean product "Shin Ramen." When I saw the wrapper on the spoon that they gave me when I ordered ramen, I smiled. When selling Korean Shin Ramen in Japan, the eggs were loose or the "spicy" that Koreans know was weak, but the vegetables boiled together were adequate and the noodles were chewy.

I waited longer than everyone else because I am in a wheelchair. If you are impatient because you waited about an hour (because you can't take off your shoes), I recommend you make a reservation. Two people ate...

This has been absolutely the best do it yourself Yakiniku experience I ever had.

I ordered the 10 item special plate and the marbling of the meat was admirable, to say the least. That particular night, I was starving after a long day and refused by two previous places. I also ended up ordering a seperate dish of meat as I was still a little hungry.

A group of Japanese salary men commended my endeavor to order such a large plate of meat for myself by taking a photo alongside me! Fun place...
