Came here after seeing the good reviews online! It's hard to miss this place, being more attractive than the competitors.
There's English menu, and you place your orders on an iPad (Has English, Chinese and korean options). You can choose if you want wasabi or not. Definitely tourist friendly. Sat at the counter, and chef and staff were friendly to answer my questions to their best efforts.
Had the 'Hakkoda' set meal, which costs almost 2700 yen. Not cheap, but not very expensive either. Hotate and chutoro were the highlights!
Ordered the grilled scallops which was quite unique, as you have to cook and mix the eggs yourself!!
Paid a total of 3.5k yen for 1 pax. Quite pricey and not the best sushi, but good...

Wish they had more salmon variety of sushi, but the ones they did have were excellent.
Tuna they had much more variety, and I tried them all. Delicious, large generous slabs of fish laid atop the perfect amount of rice.

Read moreMy wife and I search for a good sushi restaurant in Aomori tonight after a 2 hours drive from nearby city. We ordered one sushi set and a seafood donburi. We were impressed by the quality of seafood served. Their Hotate (scallop) and Hon Maguro (blue fin Tuna) were top of the class, of course since we’re in Aomori. Also the anago sushi was really good, one of the best I had tried so far in Japan. As a bonus, the price was really reasonable, for the same quality and portion, you can easily pay 1.5 times more in Tokyo. Highly recommend to visit this restaurant the next time you...
