One of the few options for savory food in the A-Factory area. With all the other vendors specializing in desserts, there really is little choice of getting a meal in the area. The pricing is higher than fast food places and I'm not really sure that the quality warrants the premium.
I ordered the Aomori Hakkoda Wagyu Cheese Burger. You can add toppings and there is an Aomori Apple Burger on the menu, but I wanted to try the wagyu so I just added the apple onto that. It comes with fries and I got Aomori Apple Juice as my drink. When in Aomori, you gotta do everything apple. The food took awhile (around 15 - 20 minutes), it is notated on their menu board that they aren't fast food, and it wouldn't be a problem if the quality was high, but there is definitely something lacking in this burger. It was presented aesthetically. This burger looks good. But once biting into it, I have to say, I really doubt this was wagyu beef. It wasn't very tender, or juicy, and lacked that incredible umami that wagyu beef has. For a quarter of the price, certain fast food places in Japan can give you a more tender and juicy burger while not claiming to be wagyu. It wasn't bad by any means, but I'd steer clear of this burger and go for one of their cheaper options. Also the apple does nothing to add to the taste. It really is just having an apple in your burger. The fries were standard issue shoestring style fries, they were slightly under done but seasoned well. And lastly the Aomori apple juice, it honestly was the star of the show. But this is Aomori, you can get the apple juice anywhere.
The seating is shared with every other vendor in the building. If you come during rush/lunch/dinner hour, it will be crowded and you may not find a seat. The staff was nice and accommodating, no problems there.
If you want to eat a burger, then Ocean's Diner is your only choice in the A-Factory area. Otherwise, there are other options that are a short walk away that may be a better choice. If you must eat here, choose one of the cheaper options as their most expensive burger is not...
Read moreOverpriced burger 🍔 restaurant. I ordered the apple burger cause it's Aomori! It was ok, tasted like a regular burger with a mushy hot apple inside. I was hoping they would incorporate the apple flavor into the next but they didn't.
I think it's overpriced for what you get, but tons of seating and a great spot for a break while you shop.

Read moreFor those who enjoy “well-done burger”, then the burgers at Oceans Diner are good. The apple burger is fun and has some sweet flavour to it. The special wagyu burger had also a nice taste, but in general it is overpriced for the quality and taste of the burgers.
For those who don’t like well-done burgers: the burgers aren’t juicy and red. It doesn’t look like it is made on the spot, so I think it wouldn’t be qualified for...
