This restaurant was recommended to us by locals. Despite the line, it was definitely worth it. We ordered the assorted seafood rice bowl (kaisendon 海鮮丼) and the fish was very fresh and delicious, especially the sea urchin. The owner also was very friendly and greeted us with a big smile. We will come back to try the croquettes. ご馳走様でした！

初めて伺ったときは海鮮丼などをいただきましたが、店主の方におすすめを伺ったら、コロッケだとおっしゃっていたので、最初は「え〜？コロッケ？」と思いながらも注文したら、これがもう、どハマり！ それ以降は必ずコロッケです。 おいしい！美味しい！！おいしすぎる〜！ 付け合わせのタルタルソースも、ポテトサラダも、さといもの煮っころがしも、ぜーんぶ手作り感満載の優しい味で大好きです。 だいたいみなさん海鮮系をいただいているので、私たち家族はみんなコロッケ定食、アジフライ定食なので、かわいそうな客…っていう目で若い子のグループには見られているかもしれませんが、違うんだな〜これが！ めっちゃ美味しいんで、海鮮系と一緒に是非ともコロッケも注文してみてくださいよ！ 熱海は良く行くので、行くたびにほぼ寄らせていただいてますが、いつもお忙しそうで、なかなかお話する機会がありませんでしたが、今回はランチ最後の客だったので、おかあさんと少しお話できました。 55年も続いているお話などを伺って、ただただ、凄いなぁ〜と。 このコロナ禍にも柔軟に対応して、座敷の小上がりを潰して座席を確保したりと、繁盛しているお店とはいえ、客への対応は素晴らしいと思います。 これからも伺わせていただきますので、どうかどうか元気で頑張ってください！

It is a very delightful experience visiting this restaurant. Owners are very hospitable. Otsukuri here is the best during my trip in Japan. The elder owner wanted to chat with us, but it was so unfortunate that we couldn’t understand Japanese well. Wait for 50 minutes in line though, it was definitely worth it. Recommend to everyone...
