Pasta-Ya 一丁目 — Restaurant in Atami

My wife and I stopped by this restaurant before our trip back to Tokyo. Originally we wanted to go to the next door ramen shop. However due to long line up, we decided to dine at this pasta restaurant instead. We ordered their special sauce seafood pasta and shrimp jenovese sauce pasta. Both were really tasty, and above my expectation. We were glad to have visited this restaurant. I personally like their seafood pasta, highly recommend to try.

The food was not bad, pasta was good, flavorful, had many different varieties. But, the staff lack the ability to understand that you do not speak japanese, they keep speaking japanese to you even if you don’t understand. This creates a large misunderstanding between the customer and staff. The staff (one server in particular, old lady) then proceeds to use a bad attitude to get your order. They often mess up your order or forget about it.
