TKP Lectore Atami Momoyama has been tastefully renovated. Our room was spacious, the beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed for our stay including yukatas to wear to the rooftop deck and onsen. A range of toiletries were provided along with complimentary water bottles and tea bags. The bathroom wasn't big but the size of the room more than made up for that. The hotel is a steep climb from the station but it's not far. We could have left our suitcases in lockers at the station until check in time (when we could get picked up in the shuttle bus), but we chose to walk up the hill with them and it wasn't that bad. The lady working on reception had excellent English and gave us lots of information to help us enjoy our day in Atami. When we came back in the afternoon our bags had been taken to our room (which had a great view) and all we had to do was to take our drinks and snacks up to the roof top deck, sit down and enjoy the view. The onsen isn't huge but it was fantastic to be able to look out at the view of the bay while soaking in the hot water. We walked up and down the hill again to go to dinner near the station but chose to have breakfast at the hotel the next morning before taking the shuttle bus to the station. Breakfast was a little over priced but it was tasty and plentiful. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again next time we...

Read moreWe stayed here knowing they don't have elevators. It wasn't as bad as i thought. They have a free shuttle service from Atami Sta. that needs to be reserved. If you walk from the station, it's just a few minutes uphill. If you have luggage, i recommend you to use the free shuttle service.
The rooms are okay, good enough just to crash and rest. However, the carpets in our room had stains and it was quite dirty. The onsen was too hot for us! 45mins was enough. Also be careful cause i think people from other buildings can see in the baths.
I particularly liked the view from the terrace. You can see Atami Castle, the train station and the sea. However, some guests smoke at the terrace. I hope they have a smoking corner so people who don't smoke can enjoy the...
