I got in touch with Masa from back home. It has been a delightful journey to organise the trip with him. He organised the Beppu day tour for a family of 4 He was very courteous, patient, reliable, knowledgeable, and always happy to help. I discovered this secret base while walking around the Seafood Izutsu and Tomonaga bakery. This place has recently been built and is known to special people! There are souvenirs we can only buy here, such as bamboo crafts and art works unique to Beppu and Oita. It seems that custom-made cloth products are sold. There is also a book cafe, so you can take a long break. There are staff members who can speak English, so foreign tourists can enjoy staying in Beppu from here. There seems to be a parking lot.
