Seafood Izutsu — Restaurant in Beppu

This place has no parking, but there is a paid parking lot 30m away. It is located in a side street. There is a street sign in white. The food we had at lunch time was set lunches. The seafood lunch is the most popular, and it cans a local fish called ‘katsuo’. The fish is very tasty and fresh. The prices are very local and the place is NOT targeting tourists. 95% are local people. The lunch was really delicious and if you are able to find this place, try your best. Amazing restaurant for some delicious seafood in Beppu! Unfortunately you can't make lunch reservations so there is a chance that you'll have to wait outside. However, the Ryu-kyu bowl was worth the wait! Take a look at the menu in advance, because if you're like me, you'll have a hard time making a decision. I decided to go for the Oita special, but you probably can't go wrong with the other options as well!

I visited this local restaurant with my friend. I recommend making a reservation as there was very crowded throughout our stay (18-20).

Fried chicken was the best! Sashimi and grilled sawara were also tasty, though.

We had an interesting conversation with the child there(apparently he was the son of one the staff).

I will definitely visit there again for tori-ten when I stay in...
