Taichishoten Beppuyamanamiten — Restaurant in Beppu

While exploring Beppu, I found my way to Taichi Shoten Beppu Yamanami Ten, and it turned out to be one of the best ramen experiences I’ve ever had.

The broth was incredibly flavorful—rich yet clean, without being overly “porky” like some tonkotsu broths can be. The slices of chashu (pork belly) were the thickest I’ve ever been served, yet they were unbelievably tender and melt-in-your-mouth good. Every spoonful and every bite was deeply satisfying—this might just be the best bowl of ramen I’ve ever had.

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a cozy, casual vibe. Service was swift and attentive, even if communication was a little tricky—there was no English menu and no English-speaking staff, but Google Translate saved the day! Honestly, it just added to the authenticity of the experience.

Taichi Shoten is definitely a must-try when you’re in the Beppu area. There’s nothing like enjoying a steaming, hearty bowl of ramen after a relaxing dip in an onsen—it’s comfort at its finest.

【2025年8月】 「太一商店」 テイクアウト　麺量：カチ 量が多いので器持って行ってみた。 器は→土鍋！ 驚かれたけどOKして下さった。 会員なので、お誕生日のメッセージが届いたのでお願いした。

今回は ・Gマヨ ・カチ盛 ・お誕生日で煮玉子＋３個 ・割りスープもお願いした

大き過ぎると思ったけど土鍋で正解。

さすがにお腹パンパンになったけど食べれた。 ※煮玉子３個は翌日食べた おいらの適量は大盛と判明。

太一商店の麺好き。 Gマヨ美味しかった〜〜〜！

【2025年5月】 期間限定商品 「おろしまぜそば」を食べてみたくて行って来た！

大盛り （並と大盛、同じ値段だった!!ステキ!!）

トッピング→ニラキムチ 味は「薄めにして欲しい」とお願いしました。

・鶏チャーシュー ・大根おろし ・かいわれ ・メンマ ・白ネギ ・ラー油→あり・なし　選べるよ。

おろしまぜそばのお供？味変？で 酢・ゆず酢も有ります。 おいらは、ゆず酢をお借りした。

初めは全部混ぜて…って訳にはいかないくらい盛り沢山。 なので、おろしと麺・かいわれと麺・メンマと麺・白ネギと麺、ってな具合で味わう。 お野菜の辛みが効いてて良い。 合間、合間に鶏チャーシューをいただく。 味がしっかり付いている。 柔らかくて食べやすい。 食べ進めていくと全体を混ぜて、いろいろと麺を味わう。 美味しいね◎ 大盛は食べ応えが有るぅ。 途中で、ゆず酢をたっぷりかけて味変。 さっわやかぁ〜。 ラー油ありのこってりから、さっぱりに変わって、また食が進む。 具沢山だし、チャーシューも大きいし、 大盛なのでお腹いっぱいになりました!!

基本はラーメンが好きだけど、たまには変わったラーメンも楽しいね。

まぜそばＧマヨ（ガーリックマヨ） まぜそばＥマヨ（エビマヨ）も 食べてみたくなりました。

【2025年3月】 何年振りでしょう… ２度目の訪問です。

今回は「つけ麺　大盛　濃さ：ふつう」 つけ麺ってめったに注文しないけど食べてみたくなった。

どんな感じだったかも思い出せないくらい以前なので、つけ麺だったら ちょこっと浸けるとか、しっかり浸けるとか、 自分好みの濃さ・味で調整しながら食べれるかなぁ…と思ってさ。

まず、スープをちょこっと味見。 大丈夫な濃さ、塩味。 （お塩・お醤油のしょっぱいが苦手なのです。）
