This is my favorite restaurant on the Seawall and we go here very very often to where I think they recognize me now lol. The avocado pizza is out of this world delicious. I crave it all the time! It's got a super thin flakey crispy consistency and is cooked in a brick oven. The cheese they use on it is so delicious as well. If you're looking for a typical New York pizza this is not for you!
The first time we went there was some confusion about the $3 or $3.50 table charge (which we were surprised about but didn't mind) we understood from the front of the menu that it listed the charge but we were confused on what he was asking us along with mentioning the charge (language barrier) We finally figured out that he was asking us if we wanted ham or wine which comes along with the table charge (so at least you're getting something for the cost). We've gone a couple times where they said we had to order a beverage and other times we haven't been told that. Seems to vary...
We love that everything is only 500¥ on the menu because it allows us to order a big variety of dishes and share with everyone at the table (has a tapas style feel).
We love the salad with pancetta and the dressings are delicious. We also like the orange beef, the cold sliced roast beef, the pasta with mushrooms and a variety of their pizzas (avocado, or Margherita, chorizo, and more).
They do not accept credit card so be sure to bring Yen with you. They usually mention it when you sit down so you are aware before ordering.
It helps to make a reservation as seating can be limited since it's a popular busy place. And as all places on the Seawall are-...
Read moreGreat food. Okay service. We got the pate, Margherita pizza, seafood pasta, shrimp and avocado, and fish and chips. The last two appetizers were okay, but everything else was absolutely delicious. As for service, we felt a bit unwelcome. The middle aged man who brought us to the table made a joke of my husband's appearance. Not sure if this is normal way of joking for Japanese people so we just laughed it off. Also, when paying, we didn't know there was a table charge and when we asked the girl what that charge was, we were given an attitude. Food takes long to come out in between each dish, but not a big issue. We would love to go back for the food, but since we felt so uncomfortable, we unfortunately won't be. Hopefully the restaurant reads this and improves their staff’s attitudes so that no one will have to experience what we did, and rather enjoy...
Read moreSo I've walked by this place a thousand times and was always curious about it. The outside doesn't look too impressive so I held off on trying it for awhile. However upon going inside it is actually really nice!
This place was a GREAT hidden gem. I did the lunch buffet and wow what a deal. It's an all you can eat menu buffet with a salad and drink bar. The salad bar was small but tasted good and the pizza is a very thin style pizza so if you like that style it was fantastic. Overall the value of this place is top notch. I know some people didn't like the pizza but it was great for us. Overall fantastic experience for the lunch buffet, definitely will be back.
EDIT: I forgot to mention this in my post but I believe it is yen only...
