The Sunrise Shack — Restaurant in Chatan

I enjoy this little truck and have ordered from here at least 10 times. With that being said, it’s extremely inconsistent in with the amount of toppings, serving size, presentation

I always order the same thing, a large Açaí bowl. A couple of times it’s been amazing, the bowl is filled, lots of fruit, and wonderful presentation. Can’t beat it, really enjoy it and that’s what keeps me coming back.

Unfortunately, more often than not, the toppings are wrong, missing, or barely there. I’ve gotten my bowl and it’s been half full. Or completely melted. Granola was once given in the cup on the side and there was barely any fruit. Wrong toppings or missing ingredients.

When it’s good, it’s amazing but unfortunately it’s been subpar more than it’s been great.

For the price, you would hope to get the same...

I truly love this place, it’s something I look forward to getting every week! I usually am not a fan of smoothie bowls, but there’s just something about the Sunrise shack that sets them apart 🙂 My favorite is the blue dream bowl! The staff is also so kind and their positive attitudes are contagious. The only critique I have is sometimes the smoothie base is really icy, and I feel like I’m eating chunks of ice instead of a smoothie base. And then when it starts to melt, it gets watery instead of creamy. It’s still good, but it throws me off...

Ordered a hot coconut butter coffee. It was not hot or warm, very watered down and I am not convinced it had coffee in it. It has a little bit of everything so that they can claim they put it in but its almost nothing. They charge premium prices for that fancy water they call coffee. Don’t see myself...
