We tried this French/European/Japanese restaurant for the first time. The chef, Tatsu, was very accommodating and helped us out as everything was in Japanese. (Using Google Lens to translate the menus helped!)
We started with a green salad. It was very fresh and tasty, but the dressing was a bit salty and tart. We had the Chicken Liver Pate next. It was tasty, and had a touch of Cinnamon. I've not had that combo, but it was great.
Next up was the Prosciutto, Barrata and Persimmon plate. It was an excellent combination. The burrata was creamy and was an additive flavor, rather than overpowering. Really good.
For my main dish, I tried the corned beef and mushroom gratin. This was fabulous! Beefy, cheesy and earthy. I really liked it!
My wife had the Roast Beef with charred butter sauce. She also ordered a side of pasta Aglio Olio. Both were very good. The roast beef also had a capers dressing that was delicious.
