This place is fantastic. An old school and quirky setting with indoor smoking (a definite pro if you are drinking). Felt like some of the great 20th century writers or Princess Margaret were imminently about to walk through the door. Had several cocktails here, which were all excellent and they knew how to make a Hemingway Papa Doble which many of the cocktail bars in London or Europe simply can’t or won’t do. This is the bar that time forgot. It's worth going here just for the experience.

The problem is that if you aren't into cocktails or spirits, there's no beer or softdrink. There's also no menu which makes it a little difficult to choose a cocktail. If you want a whiskey it's ok, because you can choose from the shelf, but there's no way to know prices without asking in each case, so be prepared to spend a lot.
