HUGE WARNING TO FOREIGNERS - DO NOT EAT HERE

I have been to Japan 7 times, travelled all over the country, and after eating at countless restaurants and interacting with so many friendly, welcoming and patient Japanese people, this easily wins the award for not only the worst ever experience I've had in Japan, but the rudest, most unfriendly person I've ever interacted with in the country. In a country with 124 million people that's quite an achievement. Congratulations.

We entered and were immediately asked in an irritated tone from the woman running the restaurant - "can you speak Japanese" which we replied with "a little". We were asked to take a seat. After a couple of minutes of sitting and feeling quite uncomfortable due to the cold and unfriendly atmosphere, she returned to ask us if we wanted coffee or tea. I responded in clumsy Japanese, but it was obvious that I was saying I didn't want coffee or tea, and asked if I could have a juice. She scoffed and laughed at me, mocked my phrasing, stormed back behind the counter to move between continuing to mock and laugh at me while all the regulars started laughing, and yelling at me if I wanted a tomato juice in sarcastic English. There was clear malice and spite in her voice and actions and I felt humiliated.

We ended up walking out, and her glare that she gave us was absolutely disgusting. If you're not a local, AVOID AVOID AVOID. If you are a local, consider if you want to support such a terrible, racist human being that's consumed by so much hatred. I wish I could give less...

It is a coffee shop near "Fukuoka Sun Palace Hotel & Hall". 口コミに副菜取り放題と書かれてあったり、そういった評判もあったので来店しました。 初来店で勝手がわからない中で、惣菜をとるように言われたので、「好きなの何個かとっていいんですか？」とワクワクしながら確認したら 「あなた、おもしろいね（笑）普通のお店は小鉢何個？わかる？普通そんな女性が副菜何個もとるなんてことしないよ（笑）ビックリした！」と、無愛想に、怪訝そうに、人を馬鹿にした態度をとられました。 人を蔑むような態度が活字では伝わらないのが悔しいです。正直、ものすごく気分悪かったです。 お客さんもいる中で、その場で恥ずかしいですし、オーダー前でしたので、私は「もう結構です。」とお店を後にしました。 常連客で信頼関係があるのならまだおばさんのキャラクターとして許せますが、初来店であの態度。失礼な方だと感じました。 また、副菜もここの口コミ見るに常連さんや男性には取り放題のサービスしてあるんですかね。お客様を性別や来店頻度などで差別してあるようです。 楽しみに来...
