野乃猫 nononeco — Restaurant in Fukuoka

A very nice and cosy restaurant with a good ambience. A good selection and variety of the food, the Indian food and Turkish food varieties are available. We went for lunch and during lunch especially Indian food varieties were available. Indian food varieties have the Dosa set with different options and meal sets. The dosa and meal combo set is also available. We have chosen the Dosa- meal combo set and meal-only set as well. There are every day special items are also available with a nice option to choose from as vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. The meal set is a mix of some vegetarian dishes and non-veg dishes. I requested to change the non-veg item to the veg item and initially, the confirmation was it was not possible. However, when the food arrived, the chef himself brought the food and provided something special veg item for me. That is friendly and accommodating service. On top of that, they also provide the non-veg dish as well. Later we had a nice conversation with the chef as well and good to learn about his passion for food and travelling to India and learning the different cuisines from different states. ドーサ？ 食べたことなっかったインド料理です。食べたかったんですよね！ドーサは南インドの伝統料理で、米と豆を発酵させた生地で作るクレープのような料理らしい。南インドでは軽食や朝食として食べる。直径50cmほどの薄い生地を筒状や円錐状に丸めたものを、サンバルやチャトニなどの副菜と一緒にいただきます。お店によって大きさはさまざまで、小さいものは30cm、大きいと60cmくらいのもあるようです。インド料理はスパイシーなイメージがありますが、ドーサそのものにスパイスは入っていないので辛くはなく、生地はパリパリと軽い食感です。発酵由来のほのかな酸味や甘味を感じるやさしい味わいでとてもおいしい。焼きたてのパンのような香ばしさもあって、スナック感覚で食べると手が止まらないおいしさですよ。

パニプリ？ パニプリとは、生地を意味する言葉「パーニー」と、水を意味する「プーリー」を合わせた造語。油で揚げた生地にスパイス水をかけて食べるとのこと。一風変わったおやつ・スナック菓子で、現地インドでは大人気のストリートフードだそうですよ。
