Rec Coffee Yakuin Station Front Store — Restaurant in Fukuoka

I basically don't drink coffee much (I'm British, so it's tea- lovvies) , but due to the nature of my work I'd often find myself in REC, and after a few visits I gradually began to look forward to this particular shop more than any other in Fukuoka for the exceptional quality of the coffee. It's the best I've ever tasted, and it's no surprise that they've won awards for it. On top of that the shop has a youthful, relaxing vibe, the staff are professional, friendly, always smiling and seem to have pride in their work, and the food is actually really good too..the sandwiches are bloody delicious. I mean, the fact that they (somewhat) converted me, a diehard tea-drinker into a bit of a coffee-lover, and that my Yakuin student/s steadfastly refuse to go anywhere else for their lessons (because of said coffee) really says it...

A friend recommended Rec Coffee, and we were excited to find one near Yakuin Station.

We ordered two coffees (Americano and latte) and three desserts since we came as a family of five and needed to order five items. Both coffees were excellent, with a smooth flavor and a hint of holiday cheer. The desserts—pudding and cheesecake—were also delicious and satisfying.
