Bistro & Wine UEYAMA — Restaurant in Fukuoka

Bistro & Wine UEYAMA is a small and private French restaurant with the chef preparing food right in front of the guests. Visitors can enjoy exquisite French cuisine with Japanese flavor. We ordered food from the lunch menu and all dishes were delicious and creatively presented. It felt very welcoming as if we had food prepared by a professional chef in the comfort of our home. The service was polite, helpful and efficient. A few items on the menu are gluten free and were easy to order. The chef also appears to have easily adjusted and accommodated certain dietary restrictions (gluten free in our case). The restaurant accepts credit cards. The prices were as expected. I recommend you not to go here on your anniversary. The service here is very different from the global standard.

I want to tell you that there are a lot of problems with the service in this industry. I had a dinner on Christmas and received an unexpected service, but if there is a service that is different from usual because it is an anniversary, I think I should guide you when making a reservation in advance.

However, ueyama did not accept the complaint because it was not at all, but rather received a service to leave if there was a complaint.

It's a bit too much to expect sophisticated service because one cook and one hall...

初めての訪問でした。料理の盛り付け、量、内容、完璧で、最近少食気味でしたがデザートまで完食でした。こんなお店がさりげなく存在しているのに大変驚きでしたが、既にご存知の方も多い様子で、常連さんらしき方でほぼ満席でした。今回は奥のテーブル席での食事でしたので、奥様らしき方との少しの会話しかできませんでしたが、ソムリエの資格を持たれているようで、おいしいワインを進めて頂きました。入店時と退店時にちょっとだけご挨拶できた、ご主人がとても優しそうで面白そうな方でしたので、次回訪問時はカウンターに座って少しお話をしてみたいと思います。この値段でこの内容は福岡でも随一だと思いました...
