Hakata Shabu Shabu IRODORI — Restaurant in Fukuoka

Very poor service! I made a reservations 3 weeks ago for Jan 1 2025 as the first day of the year by online. When I arrived, the staff mentioned cannot find my booking. I showed her the confirmation email and then the staff claimed my booking was cancelled as they only served set menu on Jan 1. They asked me to wait for 30mins but no guarantee when the table is ready. I told her I can order set menu after I reviewed the menu. However, there is no guarantee on when the table will be ready. I look inside the restaurant and there are at least 3 tables empty, only pending to clean up. There are 3 reasons I put rating 1: No cancellation email send to me before the date and they change the rule whether served by a la carte or set menu Poor service and don’t want to serve foreigners and even shown respect or any apology which is unusual in Japan There are at least 3 tables available only not ready/ no one cleaning up! With set menu price at least 6000- 8000yen and deliver this level standard is NOT worth this unless you want to treat...

Has tried the Shabu Shabu and Drink Hotai with Crab, Beef and Pork in 1.5hr at Yen 4,980 per person. Crab is not excellent but good enough. Crab portion is quite big. We all eat happily and get full. Sitting at the window side, we can see the beautiful sakura blossoms. You can order the food, drinks or even sauce through the pad, and it is counting your time as well. Definitely will come...

The best shabu shabu in Fukuoka! We have ordered Sukiyaki and Milk soup. The sukiyaki is super delicious, not too sweet and smell so good. The milk soup is real milk with creamy and less sweet taste. All meat we oredered are good quality and came in perferct size. The tables are divided well. As we came at night after concert end, that's a great time for shabu shabu!...
