Visited in early Jan, 2019 as a family trip but ny wife got some health problems in between. ||||Troublesomes put to many of the front desk and lobby staff but all are nice to offer help. My special note to share the appreciation and thank you to Ms Maeda and Mr Onishi. Especially for Ms Maeda who helped a lot on Jan 5 morning. She spent time, managed and coordinated airport staff to ensure my family travelling to airport and reaching airline counter smoothly. Really a great pleasure to know her and have her professional assistance. And Mr Onishi has came to our floor to support for moving our luggage for checkout, thank you the nice and helpful gentleman.||||Turn back to the hotel itself, facilities are good and location is great as well. Walking distance to many areas and it just next to the subway station. Breakfast is good and you can choose western or Japanese style. As a customer or traveller, you can always challenge the room size, decoration getting outdated, the hygiene and of course about not much variety of food choices in the restauran. However, I was impressed by the service they have offered to the customers. I have asked for late check out because I wont go anywhere as my wife who was in illness. Front desk offered me 1 hour extension of late checkout but they called again on the checkout date morning to inform me a further extension till 1pm. This tiny step made customer feel the service.||||I recommend this hotel to the readers here. I will promote them within my circle and I will go back next time when I travel again to Fukuoka and choose the same group of hotels for other Japan trips in future. I want share again my thank you messages to front desk and Ms Maeda and Mr Onishi. They truly demonstrating the efficiency, professionalism and the...
Read moreHakata Excel Hotel TokyuHotel in prime location in NakasuI stayed there because it was very close to the restaurant I had booked for the night 🏨Check in at the front deskBecause amenities are providedI took what I needed and went to my room. There was no water in the refrigerator. It was written that the water in the sink can be used as drinking water.I used it as drinking water in a kettle.I was happy that coffee and tea were available ☕️The bath is a unit bath🛀The hardness of the bed is just rightI was able to sleep soundly 🛏️Outside was a busy downtown area, with restaurants and people buzzing at night. The noise didn't bother me either☺️It's not a new hotelThe cleaning was thorough, clean and comfortable ☺️Two things caught my attentionThere was Wi-Fi.That's about it when I was weak 🛜(It's not that it can't be used, but it's weak)Another thing is that I was planning to park in the hotel parking lot.It seems to be a multi-storey parking lot, so one-box cars cannot enter. All I did was look for a nearby parking lot 🚗I should have checked properly in advance 😳I read that the breakfast was delicious as well.I didn't receive...
Read moreUnparalleled convenient location with plenty of convenience stores and even Ichiran's HQ nearby. Staff were polite and did their best to ensure we are well taken care of.||||We traveled in Mar so while its chilly outside, the hotel room is warm without air-conditioning. Was surprised, or rather shocked, to hear staff tell us the hotel only has warm air and does not operate an air-conditioner. Staff suggested that we keep window open for ventilation. Only problem was there is a busker down the street who sings till late midnight and disrupts our sleep. Noise from the street was really hard to block out with the window open. ||||Other issue with our room 1003 was a pungent smell of urine in the toilet, which probably explains why there is an air freshener in the bathroom. As we traveled with a young kid, I can't help but be very worried about the hygiene of the room...
