We stayed in a family suite (2 double beds + 1 sofa bed) for 3 nights. Room is spacious for 5 of us. Well equipped with a balcony, simple cooking / 2 door fridge and washer. ||This is a truly no staff manned hotel:||Check in - you need to deal with a machine (relatively not user-friendly) to enter all information required plus photograph your face with passport. Complicated but manageable. After that you will get a key to access Hotel lift lobby and your room. ||Housekeeping - nobody literally enter your room for cleaning at all. We didn't need it thus it didn't bother us. ||Service - no human service at all except a local telephone number. Not sure how to manage it as we didn't need it and we don't have a local phone sim card can call. Just one thing though, what if in case of emergency? ||Rooftop there is a communal area where you can chill out enjoying a view over Tenjin and the river. ||Check out - just drop your key in the box and go. ||Location is good, approx 5 min walk from the "Nakasu Kawabata" station. There was a sunken spot at the side of the mattress, and a sunken butt spot in the centre.||Disliked · Check-in with the Tablet provided at the entrance was a bit of a hassle. It was a Japanese virtual keyboard, hence, when one needs to input numerical digits will take a bit of a mind boggling tackle.|There was a contact number (landline) provided for enquiries/emergencies, but foreign tourists nowadays travel with WIFI egg instead of a local Japan SIM card. Hence, making a call out is impossible.|Suggest: Provide a hotel's Whatsapp number that guests can contact with message or call.|Hotel WIFI is 2 thumbs down.
