I will try my best to explain the situation. First of all I went to this place due to high ratings on google maps. So i went there and found out that its located at the end of alley. There are 2 neon sign show the direction to this place. When i got there i was confused, where is the place ? Its on the 2nd floor, so you enter through the brown door and go upstairs to 2nd floor. They will greet you and ask how many person. Wait for a while and they will give you table number. Its a 5 or 6 floor building, i got my seat on 4th floor. Its a traditional japanese restaurant. So you have to remove your shoes and go up to the tatami floor. There will be menu and hotpot stove on it. You will be sitting on tatami floor with small pillow. Only adults counts, children free of charge. We choose the motsu zanmai course. For a ¥2590 we didnt expect much but to be honest I think its a rip off 😡😡😡 The food basicly is a mild spicy hotpot, mainly consist of green union like vegetables and cabbage, with (pig ? Or cow) internal organs. If you choose manzoku or zanmai you get tofu and all you can eat noodles. Mix it all in the pot and stir it gently. Wait for few minutes and its done. Sounds good ? Wait till you try to chew organs. Its like eating rubber. We end up only eating vegetables and noodles So you basicly just get huge amount of green union like vegetables, plenty cabbages, rubber like internal organs and infinite amount of noodles. 🙄🙄🙄 that for ¥2590 ? There are few customer who smoke on my floor and the waitress dont do anything about it. The floor is tight with small ventilation and many customer so its quite annoying. When we ate halfway we found out small roach crawling from under the hotpot stove, my son noticed it and i smash it with the provided napkins. Oh and I forgot to mention that they dont have fork & spoon. So you better have chopstick mastery before eating here. To my suprise after paying the check on the 2nd floor and went down exit, there are a lot of new customer waiting in line. Are they ok ? There are a lot of far more delicious & hygienic places to eat then this. I dont know why the other reviewers give this place 4 & 5 star but I honestly say that you better stay away from this place and try somewhere else. Try the famous unagi restaurant nearby. Their price is quite the same with faaaaarrrrrrrrrr more better taste and hygiene.

[상황 요약] 입장해서 세트 메뉴를 주문했고, 나베와 두부사리는 정상적으로 나왔습니다. 21시 30분쯤 직원이 라스트 오더를 받으면서 추가 주문 여부만 간단히 물었고, 저희는 없다고 답했습니다. 이후 면사리가 나오지 않아 문의했더니, 면사리를 따로 요청하지 않아 주방 마감으로 제공이 어렵다고 했습니다. 그래서 면사리를 못 먹었으니 해당 금액을 빼줄 수 있는지 물었지만, 세트 메뉴라서 조정이 어렵다고 했습니다. 이때부터 “곧 폐점이니 나가야 한다”는 식의 말이 나왔고, 외국인인 걸 알고 있으면서도 세트 메뉴 구성 중 일부는 따로 말하지 않으면 나오지 않는다는 설명은 없었습니다. 폐점 시간이 얼마 남지 않았던 걸 고려하면, 아예 설명을 생략한 게 아닌가 하는 생각이 들 수밖에 없었습니다. 이후 직원 태도도 계속 좋지 않았습니다. 번역기를 쓰면서 혼잣말을 하거나, 딴 곳을 보며 한숨을 쉬는 등 성의 없는 태도를 보였고요. 응대 중이던 직원에게 다른 직원이 말을 걸자 둘이 낄낄대며 웃는 모습도 있었습니다. 계산할 때는 꽤 오래 기다려야 했고, 나가는 순간에는 주방에 있던 직원들 여러 명이 동시에 한국어로 “감사합니다”를 소리치듯 말했는데, 말투나 분위기상 조롱처럼 들릴 수 있는 상황이었습니다.

不推荐此餐厅,服务运营存在明显问题。
我们大约在晚上9点到店,点了牛杂锅套餐(包含火锅、豆腐和面条)。火锅和豆腐上得很快,但到最后面条一直没有端上来。我们在9点半时被告知是最后点单时间,只被简单询问是否要追加点单,我们说不需要。当我们询问面条时,对方表示“因为没点所以厨房已经关了,不能再做”。然而面条是套餐本身就包含的部分,并非额外追加。
我们提出既然没吃到面条,那是否可以在结账时扣除费用,但被拒绝,理由是“因为是套餐,不能更改价格”。期间员工的态度越来越差,还说“快打烊了,该走了”。明知我们是外国人,却没有提前说明“面条必须特别再提一次才会上”,考虑到当时已经临近打烊,让人不得不怀疑是否故意不解释以减少工作量。
后续员工使用翻译器沟通时,不停叹气、自言自语,看起来非常不耐烦。期间其他员工来搭话时,还一起嘻嘻哈哈地笑了起来。结账时我们等了很久,走出店门的一刻,厨房里多名员工突然一起用韩语高声说“谢谢”,语气和氛围都像是在嘲笑。
这家店在顾客应对、点单流程、员工态度方面都有很大问题,尤其是对外国游客缺乏最基本的说明和礼貌。强烈不推荐。

Not recommended. This restaurant has clear issues in service and staff attitude.
We entered around 9:00 PM and ordered a motsunabe set (hot pot with tofu and noodles). The hot pot and tofu were served, but the noodles never came. At 9:30 PM, a staff member came for the last order and simply asked if we wanted to add anything. We said no. Later, when we asked about the noodles, we were told they couldn’t serve them because we didn’t “request” them and the kitchen was already closed.
Since noodles were part of the set menu, we asked if the cost could be deducted since we didn’t get them. They refused, saying no changes could be made to a set. During this exchange, the staff’s attitude worsened. They said, “We’re closing soon, so you need to leave.” Despite knowing we were foreigners, no one explained that the noodles would only be served if we mentioned them again. Given how close it was to closing, it felt like they intentionally skipped the explanation.
One staff member using a translator kept sighing, mumbling, and looking away while talking to us. When another staff member spoke to them mid-conversation, they both laughed together. We had to wait a long time to pay, and just as we left, several staff members in the kitchen loudly shouted “Thank you” in Korean, in a way that felt mocking.

The portion of the beef intestine is quite small (already added additional two portions of beef intestines in first order, I doubt whether the staff have added that into the pot). However, the service to travellers is bad. Most of the staff obviously not friendly to foreigners. When I try to call the staff to add noodles to the hot pot, I have waved to the staff many times and they seek to ignore (all the staff). Later I pressed the button on the table for three times, no staff coming. The worst is the staff asked me to rate the restaurant and they stood next to me till I completed the survey. I haven’t seen them do the same to the local.
For the environment, it feels like a bit izakaya. It’s nice to chat with fd. But the table is not that clean.
Japan has a good reputation of providing a really good service to clients with good attitude. However, I cannot see that from this restaurant. Not recommended...
