I visited the restaurant back in February for dinner and was very impressed. Initially we entered on a whim because of the decor seen from outside. It looked even better on the inside. Reading the other reviews I think that we must have been very lucky because the common room we were led to only had one other table which left not long after we arrived. The staff were wonderful and friendly and it was relatively quiet around 7:30 when we dined. Only my dad had been proficient in Japanese, but the waitress who took care of us made an effort to take care of each of our needs. One additional order was forgotten during the course of our meal but ultimately it didn’t matter much because the full course was more than enough. Somewhat embarrassingly, we had gotten a bit lost and a kind elderly staff member helped us find the exit. We ordered the full course featuring fugu (Japanese blowfish). It was my first time trying fugu and while I thought it was good, the best part of the meal had been all of the other courses surrounding it. The flavours were really unique and delicious. The full course is a quite substantial meal so I recommend going in quite hungry. It is a real shame to not finish all of the food. If I had to recommend a restaurant in the city for both atmosphere and food, I consider this a top pick. I see through the other reviews that there are other locations in different cities. The experience here was good enough that I will definitely seek out the other locations if I visit those other cities.

I went on a Monday for dinner. Was given private room 3. Service was prompt, friendly and obliging. They had two young servers who took my orders and sent the food. Ms Seito Yama was manning the front of house and helped me to address my queries regarding the plum jelly that I bought. She also showed me to the toilet which is right at the back within the mall. Each item within my 10-course meal is exquisite and I love the tofu salad the most. The pairing is very refreshing! The sukiyaki is a tad sweet for my liking. There are lunch and dinner sets. Definitely worth a visit and do make reservations if you can. I also bought some jelly and crackers that they sold at the store front.

This is the best restaurant in the trip to Fukuoka. We booked the table one week before and no need to pay in advance. Initially we chose to eat in the public area but was arranged in a room. That’s magnificent. The food was already placed on the table. We booked Celebratory Kaiseki "Kotobuki" 6,500 yen (2) / <Summer only> Lunch with Kaiseki dessert. There were many exquisite dishes which looked beautiful and delicious. The meal took around two hours to finish and we enjoyed the time there. It was value for money and definitely I would recommend my friend to come over.
