Ropponmatsu is definitely an area you have to visit if you are in Fukuoka. You’ll see hidden gems like this restaurant.
The owners are exceptionally kind and friendly. We don’t speak Japanese but they tried hard to communicate with us through Google Translate. I told them we don’t eat pork, and they kindly replaced the bacon in our sandwich with egg. 🥹
The sandwich was amazing really, everything complements each other. Price was not expensive at all and portion was generous for us to share. Even the tomato was surprisingly sweet.
The toasts were amazing too. The bread is thick, soft, and lightly toasted. The jams are clearly home made.
