FIGO watanabedori — Restaurant in Fukuoka

I went here with 2 older Japanese ladies to celebrate one's retirement and the new year. The food was good, and the female staff were friendly and quick. All in all fine until the end of the meal, when the frowning male floor manager (not sure about his actual job) left us with a bad taste.

We order three desserts. Literally one minute later, we asked for one gelato to be added to the dessert orders, as we all just wanted to sample it. A few seconds later, the frowning male came over and told us we couldn't have the gelato because we didn't have time. They wanted to clear us out for the next table to come in. The time was agreed to up front, so no problem there. The problem was that we had just ordered three desserts, and he claimed that a scoop of gelato ordered seconds later would somehow hold everything up. He made no sense at all. He simply refused our order. No smile, no apology... he acted like he was guarding a bank. It was frankly bizarre.

Of course, we waited for our desserts - long enough that they could have given us 10 scoops of gelato in the meantime.

It was one of the oddest experiences I have had (the ladies agreed), and pointlessly rude.

So, aside from this one guy that goes around intimidating customers and refusing their orders, it seemed a nice place. One that I will never return to or recommend though.

Small intimate Italian restaurant serving very good pasta and meats including a delicious venison loin in red wine and cassis sauce. Nice to see real Italian table wine and fast pleasant service. The hand written menu whilst charming was challenging to read, but the ambiance and atmosphere more than made up for that. 美味しいのは美味しいかったのですが 結構どの料理も味付けは濃いめで塩辛かったです お客さんも若い人が多いような… 紹介してもらって行きましたが 紹介してもらったのに申し訳ないのですが 頻繁に行くところではないかなと

エビのアメリケーヌソースは絶品でした

ただ、そのあとに頼んだ シーフードグラタンがソースを共有してあるのかエビのアメリケーヌソースとほぼ同じ味でした シーフードくくりかもしれませんが 正直ガッカリしました 色々お店行きますがメニューは違えど 味がほぼ同じの物を出される所は正直あまり無いかと あと追加のバケットがひと切れ100円も ちょっとお高めかも

たまたま注文しましたが 違う料理を頼んでお客にバレるレベルで ほぼ同じ味はないと思います ただエビのアメリケーヌソースは本当に絶品だと思いました

スタッフの方は皆さん若い女性がフロアで ３人ほどおられテキパキと忙しいなか こなされていました

人気のお店のようで二時間半で制限されるようで、結構飲んで食べる方は時間足りないかも

あとコース、飲み放題は四人からのようです 四人以上になったら、また試してみたいで...
