This is a special restaurant. The food and the service was excellent.
The decor is stylish and modern. The dining areas are comfortable and private while maintaining the atmosphere of the restaurant. The views of the river and yatai stands are lovely.
The menu offers a number of options including a few set menus. We opted for the ‘grilled blowfish’ menu for ¥6,000. For what we had I thought this was very good value.
The food was delicious. We had 10 courses, the highlights of which were fugu (puffer fish) cooked for us on the grill and fugu sashimi. The grilled fugu was perfectly cooked and very tasty.
The service was excellent throughout. We weren’t able to speak Japanese but the staff were extremely accommodating and graciously used Google translate to describe the courses. One of the staff members could speak English and made us feel very welcome - thank you!
