Food here is honestly the best - we have been traveling through Japan for the past 2 weeks and this is one of our final destinations here. Needless to say, we have had our fair share of Michelin level food to chain restaurants food through our travels. But for us, this completely triumphs the food we have had.
That cheese burrata was so good it melted in our mouth. It was sweet and salty together without being overpowering
The salt grilled chicken. How do you keep so much moistness and tenderness in the chicken after grilling it?!?! It was like the chicken went swimming whilst it was cooked but the skin was so crispy so that was truly magical

The grilled salted chicken is a MUST try - a Gotemba specialty. The skin is so crispy thin, while the meat is so juicy and succulent.
The chef pays deep attention to everything he cooks, it's thrilling to watch him in action.
Although the staff does not speak English, they are still very accommodating to us. They made it very fun for us to explore and find out more about the menu and what to order.
The mentaimochi was very interesting - a toasted mochi with mentai roe inside.
The pork (buta) stew was delicious, with the meat being juicy and soft.
