Lovely cafe with very friendly owner! I was heading to the cape Tachimachi and randomly found this place. Once you enter the cafe, Rurupoco will welcome you! Although I only needed just a cup of coffee, the owner was very friendly and told me many useful tips while I’m traveling Hakodate. Highly highly recommended to be if you are planning visit Tachimachi!

Coconut with almond slide biscuit pairs with coffee is good, better try.

About 10 months old coffee shop. Used to be a coffee roaster shop. The owner is very friendly. The drip coffee here is very nice. Taste & smell are bold. The best in Hakodate so far. Guatemala was very nice. Lovely coffee cups by the way. If looking for a good coffee in Hakodate, I recommended visiting this Penguin’s Cafe.

About 10 months old coffee shop. Used to be a coffee roaster shop. The owner is very friendly. The drip coffee here is very nice. Taste & smell are bold. The best in Hakodate so far. Guatemala was very nice. Lovely coffee cups by the way. If looking for a good coffee in Hakodate, I recommended visiting this Penguin’s Cafe.

Visited this place on Jun 22, 2023. Our small group (from Los Angeles and I, from Seattle) walked here from Hakodate Park. I had the Peruvian coffee - EXCELLENT! The best tasting coffee - ichi ban! We enjoyed outdoor seating with a beautiful view. The owner is super nice and I found out that she hand-selects the coffee beans and pulls out only the best beans. This explains the wonderful coffee taste. I normally drink coffee with cream - but I did NOT use cream for this coffee. Cream would be an insult to the quality flavor of the pure black coffee. This place is in a discreet residential area, but if you like great coffee, this is worth...
