The location is right across the street from Goryokaku tower so you can’t miss it. I think the ingredients are fresh, howeber, I have to say that the items I order from the Japanese menu is much more flavorful than the English menu. To order, you either write the number of the item or have to write Japanese. But I would highly recommend to try to order the items that are the most popular I/o English menu where you would miss out on some of the seasonal and specialty items that I couldn’t find on the English menu or a number to write down. One of our best kaiten sushi experience in Hakodate. We went there for late lunch so there was no queue.

They have a wide variety of sushi choices (based on the current season), so fresh and sweet. The restaurant is spacious and the energetic vibes from the staff, nothing to complain about.

We love their choices of sushi so much so that we deliberately took a bus from our the shinkansen station area, just to go there for 2nd round of sushi. Yum! 😋

Will definitely visit shunka sushi again when we fly to Hakodate...

Came on a weekday lunch hour after visiting Goryokaku and it was a great place! No queue, had ample seats for single, couples and families!
