I traveled here in February 2024 from Indonesia with my husband and we had planned to try some soup curry since some videos recommend trying this dish.
You will love their soup curry if you love a strong, or sharp, spices for your soup curry compared to other soup curry restaurants. The color is deeper (orange) rather than yellow. The soup is also thicker.
We think that it has Southeast Asian flavor characteristics rather than usual Japanese curry flavor. But it is great, especially to combat the cold weather at that moment.
I ordered the vegetable one with eggs while my husband had it with additional fried tofu and he loved it. The portion is plentiful, probably the usual that Japanese people have.
The atmosphere is way different from Japanese restaurants, very Indian or Southeast Asian. Yet very clean, nice cubicle if you seek more privacy.
