Don't miss this gem right near the Himeji castle. The chef is the owner so you know every detail is covered with the food. On entry, he informed us it would take 40 mins to prepare the food once we ordered, a good sign. It didn't take that long but either way it's worth the wait. Service is rather slow and the staff was polite but seem insecure. They are young, maybe It was new staff training. Had a set menu for 3300 yen. The salmon I got on the side was delicious and the dessert ice-cream was nice. The rest was not directly bad, but very bland. Stopped by for a quick lunch here on our way to Himeji Castle and we did the right choice! I ordered the ladies set which consist of everything in between the menu and the portion was just right for me and most importantly, delicious! My partner also feel the same way with his meal.
