My husband I went for lunch on Friday after visiting the castle. Small place with indoor seating, air conditioning. We are attended quickly and the server did an excellent job. There are English menus. The server spoke just a little bit of English. Able to pay by cash or card. I got a Napali chowmein which is basically stir fried thin type spaghetti noodle and vegetables with a white tomato/cumin sauce. I think the recipe also includes a little bit of soy sauce and vinegar - it was quite tasty. Read moreStumbled upon this place and saw that their special menu set (1 kebab, 2 curries, choice of naan, rice, salad) included cheese naan as an option. Waiter was kind and allowed me to substitute rice out for another helping of salad.
I really enjoyed both curries - butter chicken and mushroom curry - which I ordered at spice level 4 (double hot). Don’t do this unless you are Indian or have been to India lol
The cheese naan was incredible, and the kebab tasted great with the green chutney I asked for on the side. They make theirs with a touch of yogurt, which I thought was interesting.

Read moreConveniently located halfway between the station and the castle, this tiny Nepali restaurant had one of the best naans I’ve ever had in the whole planet! Light, not overly thick or thin, fresh, and perfectly one, absolutely yum! The curries were wholesome, with fresh ginger pieces in the daal, and none of curries were drowning in grease or cream, I loved the food here. The service was fast and excellent. If you’re in a hurry to catch a train, let them know and be willing to sub stuff that may quicker to prepare and everything will arrive super quick. Can’t wait to come back...
