I had an amazing experience at Balkan Chill Lounge in Hiroshima! The shisha here is next-level, crafted to perfection by the incredible shisha master, Tony. It’s hands down the best shisha I’ve ever had. Tony recommended a unique flavor mix—“Pink Man and Supernova”—which completely blew my mind. It’s unlike anything I’ve tried before and way better than traditional flavors.

This lounge is also the only place in Hiroshima with a fantastic supply of Dark Side flavors, which is a rare find! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with great music curated by Tony himself. We had an excellent conversation, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

Good shisha bar with the best collection of dark leaf tobacco I found during my trip to Japan. The owner is such a great and friendly guy – I had some really nice chats with him about shisha culture in Japan and Germany. The shisha collection took me a bit back in time, like in 2015 when we used the same models, but they can still compete with today’s ones. I went there every night during my stay in Hiroshima. He even offered me the strongest shisha of my whole trip, so if you’re looking for a good, strong session during your stay, definitely visit this place. I can truly say that this is not only one of the best shisha bars in Japan, but also one of the best I have been to anywhere in the world. Firstly, the owner Tony is wonderful to talk to, and provides exceptional service. He truly makes you feel at home. The shisha itself is thoughtfully made. Tony imports high quality tobacco internationally. Some of the flavors I have never smoked in my life. He has done his research, and has perfected the science behind shisha.
