Seasonal Dishes and Grilled Food "Tsukiakari" — Restaurant in Hiroshima

Really quaint restaurant with traditional feel. We were seated at a standard table but it looked like there were private sitting rooms available as well. You take off your shoes at the front door, and step onto the beautiful Japanese hardwood floors. Conger eel and rice is their specialty. No English menu available but the staff spoke fairly good English and were very friendly in explaining both the menu and the basics of how best to eat the dishes. My girlfriend loved the grilled eel set, I felt the menu could have benefited from some variety for those who don't like eel. Still very much...

The "Anago" (Conger / Eel) was great

I also tried smoked (and for smoked I mean that I smoked them myself on the table with a miniaturized brazier):

Eggs (baked in a strange way, but delicious) Eel (served grilled) Bacon (by itself and with an home made cream/sauce) Ray Fin (Best with mayonnaise, soy sauce or both together, some pieces were together with red hot pepper)

I don't get why there are BAD reviews WITHOUT comments, but for my point of view it...

Bit of a price increase from the menu in the pictures but other than that it was a fantastic experience.

Were traveling around Hiroshima trying different foods and this was a gem if a find.
