An unforgettable dining experience—easily the best we’ve had in Japan so far. We stumbled upon this gem by chance, deciding on a whim to ask for a reservation just before they were about to close. Despite the late hour, the chef was incredibly gracious and kindly offered us the next available time slot.
The meal itself was flawless. Every dish was exquisitely prepared with locally sourced ingredients, including the Sake, which added a perfect touch to the evening. We had the unique privilege of being the only guests at that time, and the chef personally engaged with us throughout, sharing stories and insights into the cuisine. For nearly two hours, we enjoyed not only the food but also the wonderful company, watching him carefully craft each dish in front of us.
The friendly atmosphere, combined with the chef’s passion and the impeccable service, made this a truly special experience. I can’t wait to return and savor it all over again. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an intimate and extraordinary dining experience.

Read moreMy evening in this restaurant was clearly a highlight during my time in Japan. You can chose between two options both including a variety of amazing dishes. I chose the more expensive course (approximately 50 Euros) expecting that I would experience the best program and I was not disappointed. Each dish revealed new great taste, some ingredients which I have never tasted before in my whole life. Please have a look at the pictures yourself, you will see the creativity and beauty that the chef puts into his work. For foreign guests: Takuji can speak English, so a good experience is guaranteed! I wish I could come here more often, but unfortunately I live in Germany...

They use local ingredients and they follow the seasons, making it an unforgettable experience. Even the sake was local, fitting the dishes very well. We found this restaurant when walking by, I loved the exterior and the lighting so much that I had to enter and made the reservation straight away for the next day. A cute selection of pottery was just a plus to the delicious dinner. I will honestly return to Hiroshima just to dine here...
