As a foodie who loves to try new things, I was immediately drawn to the refreshingly clear and bright sauce when I first tasted the Hiroshima-style soba noodles. Gently dipping the long, chewy noodles into the sauce, I was hit with a cool, crisp flavor that seemed to spread across my palate. The expertly balanced sauce, with its rich umami notes, made the hot summer day feel remarkably refreshing and pleasant.
At the same time, the texture of the noodles themselves left a deep impression on me. Unlike typical ramen or udon, these noodles were more delicate and soft, Coated in the sauce, the noodles became even more silky smooth, leaving me craving more. 炒飯おにぎりはギュッと丸められています。(今思えばパラパラだからギュッとせざるを得ないのかな、と)
