I am rating this at a 2 for the value based on the price I paid for a Tuesday non peak season @ 16500 yen including breakfast. If I paid the standard Japanese biz hotel price (which this is) of 11000 yen including breakfast it would have been a 3 - average jp biz hotel with modern make up in a decent location. The hotel has done a good job in making first visual impression and nice concepts such as onsen, suana and features like android TV, corner/ Premier rooms at extra costs - so not the same as other biz hotels. Unfortunately execution and the use of cheap materials is not so great and will wear soon - the top floor onsen is a simple designed large bath - nothing special with no view, even though it's on top floor and called sky bath... the suana was way too hot at just over 100 degrees Celsius so couldn't enjoy also the towel mats were not clean from the people who used before nor were there any mats/ towels you could bring to sit on/ replace... Overall both great concepts executed poorly. I first received the premier twin (which is a X23 room#) but the tv was so awkwardly placed you couldn't watch it nor could you hear it properly as it has a limiter on volume. I then asked to switched rooms and I was put in a corner room (X22 room #) this was much better for watching TV (sound was the same) issue here is the quality of the bed is quite poor - bed was hard and all pillows as well. You could see since all people most likely Sat on the side of the bed it was starting to sink so when laying down to sleep you would feel as you would slide/ roll to the sinking side. Hotel is less than a year old so not great really. Breakfast was on the lobby floor and would say it had a decent selection of items but more of a Japanese western style buffet - typical jp biz hotel style. For the money I paid I don't think I would pick again but if around 11000 yen I might add it to the numerous jp...
Read moreWe travelled as a family. 2 adults and a child of 2 years old. |We chose this place because of the great location and good reviews.|At first sight, when we got to the lobby, we were met by friendly staff members and a great view of the city. From there, it went downhill…||The room itself was so small it was claustrophobic and had the weirdest shape I have ever seen. It was like half a bordered square meaning it was mainly two corridors and two beds crammed in a small space. In the middle was the smallest bathroom.|The room smell was nasty with no option to open a window, meaning that mildew was forming on the window and litteral water around the frame in the morning - whiched stayed all day. The AC didn’t help at all. |An empty water bottle was on the floor, and none of the surfaces (except the glass table) had been cleaned or dusted off for a very long time. |The bathroom ventilation didn’t do anything either. There was clear and visible black mould around the bathtub, so the tiny space smelled awful.|When requested to clean the room, trash was not taken out and damp towels was not replaced nor was the USED coffee mugs - they just put new ones inside. What?|Lastly, when politely requested to send luggage to another hotel, the employee rolled her eyes multiple times. I was so shocked that I actually smiled and laughed a bit when looking away. No smiling from her side, just pure inconvenience for her to do a service THEY PROVIDE. |I would never recommend this...
Read moreI wish I could give 0 stars. Rooms are very small for the price paid, cleanliness is something unknown here. Our room was a museum of dust never cleaned. Every single wall and Aircon unit is covered in dust. The spa is small and dirty, floors are slimy, the sauna in the women area is rusty and not a place where you would wanna seat while completely naked. Lifts are a nightmare, you have to swipe your card every time someone gets in so moving from one floor to another is a nightmare. I thought that was the worst part but nothing could have prepared me for the utter mess of the breakfast. They thought is a good idea to keep people waiting in a cue first thing in the morning! The system is crazy you cannot access the breakfast area until the waiter lets you in, once in you have to follow another cue to get your food which is in very small quantities and not enough for the people in the cue hence why you're very luckily to not get anything by the time you're at the end of the cue. if two cues were not enough, don't worry, there'll be a third one, this time to get a coffee! You're lucky if you seat and start eating 15min after you were seated, the icing on the cake? After you finally managed to finish and wish to escape from the place as soon as possible, YOU CAN'T BECAUSE THERE'S ANOTHER EFFING CUE AT THE LIFT!!! CAN YOU IMMAGINE ANYTHING WORSE THAN BEING STACK AT THE 13TH FLOOR OF A BUILDING WITH NO MEANS TO ESCAPE AND NO POSSIBILITY TO GET...
