Came across this really cool traditional ramen restaurant that was very foreigner friendly. Ordering off iPads was a breeze as the whole menu was also in English. They bring their own special complementary (made in-house) red iced tea which is similar to a light black tea but without the caffeine. I ordered their regular special Tonkotsu Ramen with all the extras and was delighted by the authentic taste. You can easily add more toppings as-well as even being able to choose the firmness of your noodles to your perfect likening. Lots to choose from. Also had the 10pc gyoza which were small yet freshly made and tasted so great. None of that frozen stuff ! Food and drinks came surprisingly fast and very fresh. Would definitely recommend if your in town looking for a local ramen spot !

Superb ramen place! The ordering system is so easy and foreigner friendly - you order through an iPad on the table which also has an English menu. There's many different options and you can customize your order however you want through the iPad before ordering, including making your order vegetarian. Service was very fast after ordering, I believe we waited less than 2 minutes for our drinks and then less than another 5 minutes for the food. I also appreciated they use reusable chop sticks, not the cheap one-use ones. The ramen itself is great, I had the white broth one. The broth was slightly more oily than I'd like it, but still great! Generous serving of pork as well. We also tried the gyoza, which were fine.

Attention, vegans: there is no marked vegan options here anymore! Came here cause I saw on Google they had a separate vegan ramen menu. Unfortunately, this information is outdated, apparently they got rid of it. I still managed to compile a vegetarian meal for myself, not sure it was vegan cause I don’t know if the noodles have animal products and/or how they’re cooked. They were plain and didn’t smell of fish or meat, so I felt safe to eat them. Portions are huge. I ordered vegetables and sprouts as toppings but they came in the size of whole meals haha.

We love the Hakata-style noodles so we ordered the Kiwami Shiromaru + Shiromaru with egg! The pork and broth are so flavorful. We also ordered the gyoza dumplings twice, they are bite sized and perfect. Ordering system very easy through the iPad seated in front of you made for quick service. Everything came quickly and was very tasty! The staff is also very friendly.

Hands down the best ramen I've had in Japan! The modern special ramen puts a fresh spin on traditional ramen while also being incredibly tasteful and filling. The jazz music they played was also in very good taste with a few of my favourite tunes coming on. Service was excellent and the English menu was one of the best I've seen this far.

First time in an Ippudo shop for their limited edition plant-based vegan ramen. It was delicious and I will upgrade my rating from 4 stars to 5 stars if it becomes a regular menu item! The staff were very nice seemed genuinely interested in what I thought about the vegan option and said it had been well received.
