A rare find: a restaurant specializing in ayu (sweetfish) dishes
Order: Ayu Kamameshi (ayu rice pot) and Ayu Zosui (ayu rice porridge) Price: ¥1650 and ¥1300 respectively Taste: Delicious! The ayu was cooked perfectly, tender and soft enough to eat from head to tail. There were two ayu in each dish. Homemade pickles were also served. Portion size: Just right for the average man. Might be a bit much for women. Serving time: Approximately 5 minutes
Menu: Primarily ayu dishes. Kishimen (flat noodles) are also available. Other: Desserts and alcoholic beverages are also available. Overall price: Around ¥1200 to ¥1700 per person. Slightly higher than the Japanese average, but very reasonable considering the quality. Vegetarians: Vegetarians should order the kishimen.
Service: Polite, with a smile, and attentive. Interior: Showa era atmosphere. The interior has a historical feel. Cleanliness: Clean. Size: A bit narrow. Cashless payments: All forms of cashless payment are accepted, including credit cards and QR codes.
Other: Primarily open for lunch. It can get quite crowded around 12:00, so it's recommended to visit around 11:30 or 13:00. Located right across from Inuyama Castle, so it's easy to find. I want to...
